This approach helps ensure the final output matches your expectations. One of my favourite technics is using media personalities and popular stars in my prompt:
- Formal Tone: “Write a promotional email about my best seller product in the style of James bond 007.”
- Humorous Tone: “Draft an engaging script for my ad about my online course in the tone of the main character from Wolf of Wall Street.”
“Pretend you are a copywriter for a [insert industry, e.g., tech startup]. Write a [insert tone, e.g., professional and innovative] landing page for a new SaaS product. A lot of “AI gurus” discredit this method. They say its irrelevant and does not help Chat GPT in any way. I don’t agree with this fully. It is optional but certainly makes a huge difference. Assigning specific roles can create more engaging outputs. A good example would be:
